Plant A Seed: HMPO Welcomes Angel Ndlela as the New KZN Ambassador as She Visits Cosmo Primary School in KwaZulu-Natal

Helping Mzansi People Out is proud to introduce Angel Ndlela as the new ambassador for the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Angel steps into this role with excitement, purpose, and a deep passion for community upliftment. As HMPO continues its mission of supporting schools across KZN and South Africa, her appointment marks an important step in expanding the organisation’s reach and impact.

For her first official project as HMPO’s KZN Ambassador, Angel visited Cosmo Primary School in Howick, a place that holds a special meaning in her heart. During the visit, she had the opportunity to meet with the school principal, members of the School Governing Body, and teachers to share some exciting news: HMPO will be presenting the school with R100,000 worth of renovations for their pre-primary school.

This initiative forms part of HMPO’s ongoing commitment to improving learning environments and creating spaces where young children can feel safe, inspired, and supported. By investing in early childhood learning facilities, HMPO hopes to contribute to a stronger educational foundation for learners in communities that need it most. Angel expressed her excitement about beginning her journey with HMPO in Howick, saying that there was no better place to start than somewhere so close to her heart. Her passion for the project is clear, and she will be documenting the entire renovation journey from beginning to end.

Through her role, Angel will help shine a light on the needs of schools in the KZN region

While also showcasing the positive change that can happen when communities, organisations, and passionate individuals come together.

The work at Cosmo Primary School is only the beginning. HMPO, together with Angel Ndlela, looks forward to revitalising more schools, supporting more learners, and continuing to make a meaningful difference across KwaZulu-Natal.

Interview with the Principal: Mrs Mkhize

As part of our visit to Mblane Primary School, we had the honour of speaking with the school’s Principal, Mrs Mkhize, who shared her thoughts on the importance of initiatives like Plant A Seed.

Stay tuned as Angel takes us through the journey at Cosmo Primary School and shares the transformation as it unfolds.

Plant A Seed is not only about careers & empowerment; it is about restoring hope, igniting ambition, and empowering young people to believe in their potential.

Through initiatives like this, HMPO is planting seeds that will grow into tomorrow’s innovators, technicians, leaders, and change-makers in South Africa’s automotive space.

Because when we invest in our youth, we are not just building careers we are building a stronger, more hopeful South Africa
