Welcome to Helping Mzansi People Out (HMPO). By participating in our giveaways, using our website, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
 

1. Eligibility

1.1. Participants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid South African driver's license and ID to be eligible for the giveaway.
1.2. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in any HMPO giveaway:

• The founder’s family members (including direct and extended relatives).

• Volunteers, staff, and employees of HMPO.

• Sponsors and corporate partners associated with HMPO.
   

2. Giveaway Process & Winner Selection

2.1. A winner will be announced every month through our official communication channels.
2.2. The winner will be randomly selected based on the eligibility criteria and verification process.
2.3. HMPO reserves the right to conduct background checks or request additional verification before confirming a winner.
2.4. To ensure fairness, transparency, efficiency, and the smooth administration of all prize draws conducted by Helping Mzansi People Out (HMPO), all participants acknowledge and agree that a selected winner must be contactable during the live draw process. If a participant’s ticket number is randomly selected as the winning entry during the official live draw, HMPO representatives will immediately attempt to contact the participant telephonically using the contact number provided at the time of entry. A minimum of two (2) call attempts will be made during the live draw. Should the selected participant fail to answer either of these call attempts, decline the call, have an unreachable phone, experience network issues, have a switched-off device, or otherwise be unavailable to participate in the winner verification process at the time of the draw, the participant shall forfeit their claim to the prize, and a new ticket number will be randomly selected.

2.5. This requirement is implemented to promote transparency, maintain the integrity of the live draw process, provide immediate confirmation of the winner’s identity, and ensure that all participants and viewers can witness a fair and verifiable winner announcement in real time. Participants are therefore strongly encouraged to ensure that the contact details provided are accurate, that their mobile devices are switched on, adequately charged, within network coverage, and available during the advertised draw period. HMPO shall not be held responsible for missed calls, poor network coverage, call blocking settings, incorrect contact information supplied by the participant, technical failures, or any other circumstance that prevents successful contact with the selected participant. By entering the competition, all participants expressly agree to this winner verification procedure and acknowledge that failure to answer the verification calls may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternative winner.

3. Prize Collection & Conditions

3.1. The winner is not entitled to receive the vehicle on the same day they are announced. HMPO will communicate the collection process, which may take additional time for administrative and legal formalities.
3.2. The winner must claim the vehicle within 30 days of being notified. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture, and an alternative winner may be chosen.
3.3. HMPO is not responsible for any costs associated with the winner collecting or registering the vehicle, including but not limited to licensing, insurance, or transportation.
3.4. The vehicle is awarded "voetstoots," and HMPO does not provide warranties, guarantees, or additional services beyond the transfer of ownership.
3.5 The winner is responsible for the collection of the vehicle.
3.6 The winner of the vehicle is responsible for the change of ownership to his or her name.

4. General Terms

4.1. HMPO reserves the right to modify or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
4.2. Any attempt to manipulate the giveaway, including fraudulent entries or misrepresentation of eligibility, will result in immediate disqualification.
4.3. By participating, entrants agree to allow HMPO to use their name, image, and testimonials for promotional purposes without compensation.
